F&R offers exclusively online tutoring for all sections of the SAT and ACT. Our teaching pathways are tailored to provide each student the unique support necessary for success, built on a robust curriculum in conjunction with regular practice tests.
Students typically meet for 90-minute weekly sessions with their tutor, and tutors are regularly available throughout the week for questions via email. After each session, the tutor sends a PDF of the annotated whiteboard to the student for them to review along with a homework assignment to reinforce material covered and preview new content.
We understand that our students are busy. Online tutoring ensures they can work with their best-fit tutor whether the students are at home, at boarding school, competing in athletics, or traveling. Online access ensures continuity and allows students to stay on track wherever they are.
Using live video feeds, tutors provide the same clear, thoughtful instruction as in any classroom. To encourage maximum student participation, we send all students a gift of the same drawing tablet we tutor with as part of our welcome package. With both the SAT and ACT transitioning online, this approach provides authentic practice and comfort in the digital testing environment.
